April 22 (Reuters) - On April 22, Wanhua Chemical's acrylic acid quotation in North China was reported at 11,950 yuan per ton, a decrease of 400 yuan per ton compared to the previous quotation date. The 300,000-ton-per-year acrylic acid plant is operating normally. Chempricehub's analysis of acrylic acid shows a bearish score of -1.5. The drop in Wanhua Chemical's acrylic acid quotation in North China by 400 yuan per ton to 11,950 yuan per ton, a decline of approximately 3.35%, indicates weak market demand. The normal operation of the 300,000-ton plant on the supply side, with no disruptions, has intensified the downward pressure on spot prices. This price reduction reflects the weak fundamentals of the industry, which may continue to decline in the short term, posing a generally bearish impact on the acrylic acid spot market.
