Methanol auction results for Yankuang Group on September 22: The starting price for methanol at Yulin Yankuang was RMB 3,260/ton for a volume of 5,000 tons. The entire quantity was successfully traded within the range of RMB 3,260–3,265/ton. Both Phase I (600,000 tons/year) and Phase II (800,000 tons/year) methanol units are operating stably.

For Yankuang Guohong’s methanol competitive bidding sale, transactions were finalized at RMB 3,710/ton, ex-works, cash terms. Its coal-to-methanol unit with an annual capacity of 640,000 tons is currently operating three gasifiers.
