On September 20, acetic acid prices in the North China region rose. Delivered prices in surrounding areas were around RMB 4,365 per ton, marking an increase of RMB 90 per ton. Inventories at acetic acid producers remained low, while strong support from methanol feedstock bolstered market sentiment. Traders maintained a bullish stance, and downstream buyers purchased according to demand. Consequently, the upward trend in acetic acid prices continued.
