Recently, Tianjin Bohai Petrochemical has publicly released the second notice of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for its high-performance Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) pilot project. The project will be located in the existing plant area at No. 189 Bohai Road, Lingang New Materials Industrial Park, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, using glacial acrylic acid as raw material and cyclohexane as solvent, and adopting inverse suspension polymerization for pilot testing. The annual pilot scale is 500 tons. The project is scheduled to start construction in September, with a construction period of 2 months, and will be completed in November.
